The challenge in this 30sqm studio in the heart of Madrid's old town, in a 1920’s classified traditional building was to create a proper room! Removing walls, false ceiling etc… we discovered 70cm height hidden and beautiful wood structural beams. With its 3.40cm height ceiling and the genius mechanism to elevate the bed (so we can access a small dressing) the new layout playing with smart closets hidden kitchen and appliances keeping original wood floor responded perfectly the client's request for this tiny but charming project.
